The Annual Giving Campaign
"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." - Numbers 6: 24 - 26

Dear Annual Giving Campaign donors, It is with sincere thanks and genuine appreciation that we recognize you for your generosity and support toward our John Carroll High School Annual Giving Campaign. Every online donation and donor envelope that arrives in our office is greeted with excitement and optimism!
Those of us who work on campus are fortunate to see that your donations make a direct impact on our students, and we cannot adequately express how their lives are enriched thanks to your kindness.
We encourage you to consider prayerfully making a gift to John Carroll this year. Please know that dedicating a portion of your hard - earned resources to the school is always appreciated, valued, and recognized as a sincere act of kindness.
Your donations allow us to stand firm in our mission to inspire the pursuit of educational excellence, foster character formation, develop a commitment to service, and affirm the dignity of each student entrusted to our care.

A very generous donor has enabled several students to attend JCHS the past few years. Below is a direct quote from a student who wrote this thank you note to the donor...

Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach was a generous donor to the Annual Giving Campaign. The church has several students who proudly attend JCHS.
"Ever since I was little, my parents and I have prayed for me to be able to go to John Carroll Catholic High School. We have had financial problems, and my grandma has just been diagnosed with breast cancer.
When we heard that an anonymous donation was given to John Carroll and that they would like me to attend and go on scholarship, I was extremely happy. Now that I will be attending John Carroll, I will get a great education and will be learning about my faith, too.
While attending John Carroll I want to play softball and lacrosse and join the drama club. When I am older, I would like to pursue a career in cardiology and become a doctor. Going to this school will get me one step closer to my dreams.
Thank you and God bless"
This exact verbiage was taken from a thank you note from a mother of two boys, one of whom attends JCHS. His attendance was made possible due to the generosity of an Annual Giving Campaign donor who developed a personalized scholarship.

Donors Teresita (Valdivia) and Pat Collins enjoy the Alumni Homecoming Celebration with their daughter Corey, who is also an alumna and faculty member.
"Dear Benefactor,
We would like to take this opportunity to express to you our appreciation for what you have done for our son. Your most generous donation to his education at John Carroll High School is appreciated more than mere words can convey.
...By the continued work of John Carroll and its benefactors we were afforded the opportunity to teach our boys not to give up and always do their best, and they will be blessed.
...Through all the trials facing the world today, it restores my faith that there are people out there willing to help others. I pray for God's richest blessings upon you and your family. I just wanted to tell you once more how thankful we are for your support of our son..."

Katherine Hankle (second from left) and fellow 2011 graduates Karla Matamoros, Alex Smith, Flora Garcia-Bahamonde celebrate their successes at Baccalaureate Mass.
"The four years that our daughter Katherine was at John Carroll Catholic High School were tremendous. John Carroll offers a strong academic opportunity for its students, and Katherine had the opportunity to participate in sports and extracurricular activities that she might not have had at a much larger school. But certainly the major interest for us was the fact that John Carroll not only provided a good faith enriching experience but very much lived that experience.
The administration and the faculty demonstrated in their actions and their efforts their faith in Jesus Christ. We experienced this recognition of the importance of living and imparting our faith in the classroom, in athletics and in other activities. There was a genuine interest in Katherine not just as a student but as a child of God, even with the normal struggles of a teenager.
Our four years with Katherine at John Carroll went by very quickly. We encourage every parent to enjoy and experience with their student each opportunity at John Carroll. We remain equally excited about the continued improvement the school plans and its desire to continue to provide a quality, faith-filled education and experience".
Dave and Diane Hankle,
Parents of 2011 graduate Katherine Hankle

Funds from the 2011 Annual Giving Campaign allowed the school to purchase new Dell computers for the computer lab. Classes offered in the lab are full of eager students who utilize the new technology on a daily basis.

How to Help

For your convenience, a donor card with attached envelope has been enclosed. Please complete the pledge card and return it to the school. You are welcome to include information about yourself, or you can choose to remain anonymous.
Donations can be made in several different ways. Gifts of cash, check, or credit card are always welcome. Contributions of mutual funds, stocks, or bonds can be easily transferred to the school. You can honor someone special in your life who has passed away by making a Memorial Gift in his or her name. Local businesses or individuals have the opportunity to create a scholarship in their name while determining the criteria, providing the funding, and selecting the recipient.
Gifts of real property including land, buildings, leases, or items of value are greatly appreciated. John Carroll also accepts in - kind donations for use by the school. Donors also have the opportunity to give back to the school by remembering John Carroll in their life insurance policy, bequest, or a charitable remainder trust.
Donors may also visit our website at www.JohnCarrollHigh.com and make a donation using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. The school also welcomes multiple payments toward your donation via credit card, cash, or check. If you would like a financial advisor to contact you about a donation, please indicate your interest on the donation card.
