Incoming Freshman Registration
We are elated to welcome the incoming Freshman Class for the 2019-2020 school year! Students have been accepted to JCHS after careful evaluation from our Admissions Committee, the information from the child’s current school, and placement test results.
All incoming 2019-2020 freshman are asked to attend Freshman Registration Night on Monday, February 26th from 6-8 PM. Families can ask questions about your student’s course selections, learn information about student affairs, meet one-on-one with our Finance Director, and much more. Please hand in your Course Selection Form on February 26th at Freshman Registration Night. (This was sent in the decision packet to students who have been formally accepted.) Also, a copy of the student’s Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, and Florida Immunization 680 Form should be handed in at this event. To finalize the enrollment management process, please create an Online Enrollment Parents Web account by March 15. If you have an existing Parents Web account (for a current JCHS student), you may use that log in and password to complete this step. Click HERE for directions on how to complete the Online Enrollment Process. The $750 discounted registration fee should be paid online during the Online Enrollment process. To pay this fee in three equal payments in February, March, and April, please email KCarter@johncarrollhigh.com. If you do not pay the registration fee by March 15, the fee will be $850. If you belong to a Catholic parish, the form for St. Anastasia Church and all other Catholic parishes are available to download on our website and is due to your parish by February 26th. If you are seeking tuition assistance, the application to apply for assistance from JCHS, is through FACTS Aid and Grant, and should be completed by February 26th at https://factsmgt.com/parent-resources/grant-and-aid/. Families can also apply for tuition assistance through “Step Up For Students.” SUFS is a state scholarship funding organization in which students can earn up to $7,111 in tuition assistance. Partial scholarships are also available if qualifications are met. The application, qualifications, and deadline dates can be viewed by going online to www.stepupforstudents.org.
