Inspiring the pursuit of educational excellence
Field trips offered in St. Lucie County and around the US including Holocaust Museum in Tampa, Youth for Life March, Smithsonian Institution, White House, Jefferson Memorial and Washington Monument in Washington DC, Envirothon Trip to Chattanooga, Marine Biology trip to Florida Keys, and the Wal-Mart Distribution Center Tour in Fort Pierce. President's Volunteer Service and Association of Fundraising Professionals Youth in Philanthropy Award Winner Katherine Leu. John Carroll High School American History student's participated in the American Legion Auxiliary Essay Contest for Unit #318. Winners included state winner John Sinnott and local winner Chris Valle.


Fostering character formation

Donating 333 cell phones to soldiers overseas with the help of the St. Lucie County Fire Department, earning a private concert at the school by country duo Steel Magnolia




As a Catholic high school, we promote and teach the Catholic faith and spiritual values while welcoming students from other faith traditions.Faith formation and spirituality are at the core of what we do as a community. The many forms of outreach and community service flow from loving God and following our mission, taught to us by the master teacher, Jesus Christ.



Completing 1st "Green" Habitat for Humanity home in St. Lucie County, the fifth home completed by John Carroll



Winning the "Gift Of Life Award" for the Anchor Club’s coordination of numerous blood drives, resulting in 225 lives being saved


Service



Developing a commitment to service
Promoting local and international mission trips through groups such as Catholic Heart Work Camp and Youth on a Mission with trips to the Bahamas, Haiti, and the Carolinas

Offering 5 service clubs including Anchor Club (pictured third from top), Green Club, Key Club, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Student Government.

Requiring students to complete 20 service hours per year, culminating in hundreds of service work for organizations such as Hope’s Closet, Treasure Coast Food Bank, Project Response Food Pantry, local churches, schools, and more


Affirming the dignity of each student entrusted to our care

Students enjoy participating in semester religion classes including sacraments, bible history, morality, social justice, church history, and marriage and family.

Students are encouraged to develop and nurture their faith through active participation in regular school celebrations of the Mass and various liturgies, prayer services, sacramental services, and class retreats.

Providing clubs such as Alpha Peer Ministry, Christian Service Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Youth for life
