Class Rules

Class Rules:
1. Students are to be in the classroom and in proper dress code at the bell.
2. No food, candy, gum or drinks are permitted in the classroom.
3. Students should be prepared for class with all assignments, books, notebook, paper, pen and pencil daily.
4. Students must stay in their assigned seat unless granted permission otherwise.
5. Students must raise their hand and wait to be acknowledged if they have something related to the lesson to contribute.
6. Homework assignments will be listed on the board and on the school website. If absent, the student is responsible for finding out what assignments have been missed, completing the assignments and returning the assignments to the teacher within three school days.
7. Late work is not accepted and will result in a zero. All homework is due and will be collected at the beginning of class. No exceptions! If the assignment is not turned in at this time, a grade of a zero will be earned. If you leave your homework somewhere else, like a locker, then it is not here, and you will earn a zero. BE RESPONSIBLE!
8. Assignments given in advance are due on the announced date despite an absence. If not received by the teacher on this date, the student will earn a zero.
9. Once MLA is taught in class, each assignment will be required to be written in this style. There will be a 10% grade deduction per assignment that does not follow these rules.
