Classes offered include Computer Applications, Computer Keyboarding, Web Page Design, Graphics Animation, Graphics Animation Advanced, Dual Enrollment College Computing

One of the school's goals for the 2010-2011 year is to update the Media Lab located in the school library. Thirty new Dell PC computers would update the lab and allow computer usage for various resources. This Media Lab would allow students who do not have a computer at home to have access to necessary computer equipment and applications. Teachers often require typed school papers, internet research, power point presentations, and projects that utilize computers.

The updated lab would also allow teachers to bring their classes in the same facility to teach simulations instruction.Examples of this work could include SAT prep, biology research, online history lessons, new computer math applications, and more.

Public Relations Club

The John Carroll High School PR Club strives to bring the latest student news, photos, and videos to the school and community quickly and reliably. Student members are responsible for producing a weekly show that will be viewed in homeroom once a week. The video will then be posted on the school's YouTube site. In addition, members of the club may produce informational, comical, or interesting videos featuring JCHS for numerous purposes. Student members will also photograph school events, theatre productions, accomplishments, assemblies, etc. These photos will be used for press releases, may be posted on the school's Flickr page, and may be used for publication purposes.
