John Carroll High School Athletic Field House

This project for the JCHS Athletic Field House began in spring 2021 with a kick-off at that year’s annual gala, held on the football field on April 30, 2021. At that time, the project was a simple metal warehouse to be constructed to the east of the football field next to the existing bathrooms.
Due to a variety of factors, the location of the project eventually had to be changed to what has traditionally been the booster parking lot to the west of the stadium. With it, the scope of the project has grown substantially. What began as a metal warehouse building has transformed into a 6,000 square foot concrete block structure which will now include a state-of-the-art weight room, including 2,500 square feet of practice turf for speed and agility training, as well as an indoor concession stand, ticketing window, and men’s and women’s restrooms for the athletic complex. This space will serve as a central hub for training and conditioning for all of our student-athletes.
July 2, 2025 Update: The JCHS Athletic Field House project is making great progress! The site has been cleared, the foundation slab has been poured, and the masonry structure is up! Special thanks go to Richard K. Davis Construction Corp. for leading the build, Velcon Engineering and Guettler Brothers Construction for site prep and surveying, and Drawdy Construction for the concrete work. This dream is quickly becoming a reality!
Please note that as the scope of this project has grown and expanded exponentially, so has the need for additional funding and support and Field House naming opportunities are available.
