Attention John Carroll families:
We appreciate the compliance and support our students and families have shown regarding COVID-19 protocols since the beginning of the school year. We want to convey our deep gratitude to our faculty members who have worked tirelessly to support and educate our students both in the classroom and virtually, as it takes great dedication and love to do so.

Unfortunately John Carroll currently has nine confirmed positive student cases of COVID-19. The transmission of these cases appears to have occurred outside of campus. Due to the large number of students that have been asked to quarantine due to close contact with positive students, we have made the decision – after much consultation and prayer – that it is in the best interest of all members of our John Carroll family to move to virtual instruction on Nov. 12. This temporary measure was made out of an abundance of caution and by the decision of our John Carroll administration alone – rather than by any outside mandate or authority.

There will be no school on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to allow faculty and staff to prepare action plans for this phase of virtual learning. Details will be communicated to families and students by the end of the day on Nov. 11.

We are #jchsinthistogether!
