The John Carroll High School community mourns the loss of Mr. Ron Shultz... The Shultz family has been deeply connected to JCHS throughout the years, and our prayers are with the family during this time.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. May 21 at the Yates Funeral Home and Crematory, Fort Pierce Chapel. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. May 22 at the Indian River Presbyterian Church in Fort Pierce, with pastor Bryan L. Wenger officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at White City Cemetery in Fort Pierce.

Mr. Shultz, 67, died May 16, 2013, at Florida Hospital in Orlando. He was born in Atlanta and lived in Fort Pierce since 1970, coming from his birthplace. He was the president of Bill Shultz Chevrolet in Fort Pierce. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. He attended Norman College in Norman Park, Ga. He was a member of the Pelican Yacht Club, in Fort Pierce, where he previously served on its board of directors. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Nancy Shultz; son, Steven Shultz, of Jensen Beach; daughters, Ansley Alexander of Atlanta and Kimberly Crook of Stuart; parents, Bill and Louise Shultz of Fort Pierce; brothers, William Shultz and Jeff Shultz, both of Fort Pierce; and five grandchildren.
