Today's reflection... "Preach often and when necessary use words”

JCHS has selected the theme, “Preach often and when necessary use words,” to help carry out its mission this school year.
The quote references the idea that we are all called to go forth and preach the gospel. It also speaks to our personal mission that living our lives is the most powerful homily any of us will ever preach.
We are each called to “go into the entire world,” to spread good deeds. John Carroll High School, just like our local and global community, is blessed to have a diverse population. It is our mission to prepare our students to live, work, and positively affect a global community that is not limited to a particular culture.
Because of our Catholic identity and the desire to reach each student with academic excellence, faith-based lifestyle, and strong character development, JCHS models the teaching of the Master Teacher, Jesus Christ, in order to take His message to the world through every opportunity.
“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age’.” -Matthew 28: 18-20
