Do you want to go to Spain next summer? Dr. Yudin, a JCHS Spanish teacher, will be taking students on a two-week trip to Salamanca, Spain in summer 2016. It is a study trip in which students--from beginner to advanced levels--will take classes at a language institute for 4 hours a day.
During the afternoons and weekends students will have cultural programming/excursions around Salamanca or to nearby cities. The cost for the two-week language and cultural program, including transfers, excursions, lodging, and 3 meals per day is $2,200 (plus $1020 for airfare). Salamanca, in northwestern Spain, is a city rich in architectural, religious, and gastronomic culture. It home to the third oldest university in Europe and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has also been named a European City of Culture.
