John Carroll High School is proud to participate in the “Step Up For Students” program through the state of Florida. Step Up For Students scholarship applications for families who currently receive assistance are now available to renew online at for the 2017-2018 school year.

SUFS is a state-approved nonprofit scholarship funding organization that helps administer two scholarships for Florida schoolchildren: the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program (FTC) for low-income families and the Personal Learning Scholarship Accounts (PLSA) for children with certain special needs. Students can earn up to nearly $6,000 to attend schools such as John Carroll.

The application process is simple, and the program is currently re-enrolling students for the 207-2018 school year. Applications for families who wish to take advantage of the scholarship for the 2017-2018 school year but who are not currently enrolled should be available in January 2017.
