Boys' lacrosse coach meet-and-greet

Please join incoming boy's lacrosse coach Sean Stinger for a meet-and-greet Thursday, June 28 at 5 p.m. in the Cole Coppola Learning Commons!

Coach Stinger graduated Byram Hills High School in Armonk, NY. He was captain of his lacrosse team, and they went undefeated in 1982 (21-0). After high school, Coach Stinger attended Lynchburg College where he played varsity lacrosse in Division III Old Dominion Athletic Conference. In addition, he played on the USA Eagles college select travel team and Pennsylvania State University varsity lacrosse Division I.
Since then, Coach Stinger has coached several teams, including serving as the head varsity lacrosse coach at Martin County High School from 2010-2011, head varsity lacrosse coach of Sebastian River High School from 2012-2018, and founder and head coach of the River Rats Lacrosse Club in 2010.
"My first objective is to establish a new 'Esprit de Corps,' a feeling of pride, fellowship, common loyalty, and goals shared by the players, coaches, and families. All founded in the belief that we can do great things. In order to do something great you must first sincerely "believe" that it can be done. Our past is what it is, but it has nothing to do with our future prospects. I am very thankful to have been given this opportunity. I am ready to start the journey," remarked Coach Stinger.

Please contact Athletic Director Mickey Groody at with any questions. Thank you for joining us in welcoming Coach Stinger to our JCHS family!
