Congratulations to Ashton Singleton for signing to play basketball at Presentation College!

Congratulations to Ashton Singleton, a John Carroll High School senior, who signed a celebratory letter of intent on June 26, 2018, to play basketball for Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Ashton will be majoring in sports management starting in the fall of 2018.

Ashton, a point guard, was named Class 4A player of the year, first-team all-area and was a member of the Treasure Coast All-Star Team. He averaged 15.7 points per game, as well as 3.6 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 4.2 assists.

“This school has just showed me so much love and I can’t thank you guys enough,” Ashton said. “While you get the chance, you’ve just got to cherish it.”

Ashton also excelled off the court with a 3.5 GPA.

“Our program philosophy includes the three C’s, which are character, classroom and court,” said Jimmy Hebb, John Carroll High School basketball coach, “and Ashton was the model example of our three C’s.”

John Carroll is proud of Ashton for his accomplishments and wishes him the very best in college!
