FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: John Carroll High School to host Open House and tailgate party Oct. 26

John Carroll High School will host its 2018 Open House on Friday, Oct. 26. Current sixth through eleventh grade students, along with their families, are invited to the event.

Current John Carroll High School students will serve as tour guides for prospective students and families. Two tour sessions are available at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Guests are invited to join whichever session best fits their schedules. Tours will begin with a warm welcome in the gym from Principal Corey Heroux. Faculty and staff will be available to discuss current academic programs, college preparatory curriculum, tuition assistance, athletics and the placement exam, among many other topics.

John Carroll, a 501(c)3 status school serving students - both Catholic and non-Catholic - from Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin counties, prides itself on providing students with a Catholic foundation and a quality education. John Carroll offers an atmosphere in which students receive individualized attention on a daily basis - inside and outside of the classroom. Financial aid is available for families, as well as funding via the Step Up For Students program, which can provide up to $6,920 in aid to attend John Carroll.

John Carroll students’ standardized test scores are higher than the average local, state and national results, and nearly every student attends college after graduation. Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement, an Advanced Placement Capstone Program, honors and academic level classes are offered.

“We want to provide current middle school and high school students with an inside look at our fantastic school and all it has to offer,” Heroux said.

All Open House guests are invited to the football game after their tours for a free tailgate party and complimentary admission to the football game. One attendee will win free tuition for an incoming freshman for the 2019-20 school year during halftime.
