The 2021 prom will be held at The Lake House on Friday, May 21 from 7:30-10 p.m. and will be for seniors only. At JCHS, one of our primary concerns is always the welfare of our students during the school day and at school-sponsored events. Due to restrictions from COVID-19, this event will be limited to the Class of 2021 only and will feature food, music, photo opportunities, and other activities, which will include a special class slideshow, the introduction of the prom court, and the grand announcement of the JCHS 2021 prom king and queen. We are thankful to be able to provide a thoughtfully planned formal evening for the Class of 2021, and we hope that this night is a special memory for those who attend.

The cost of this event is $30 per person. Tickets may be purchased using the FACTS billing website linked here through Friday, April 30. In addition, all participants are required to complete and submit the linked Permission Form via GoogleForms by Friday, April 30. Tickets will not be available to purchase via cash/check, and no tickets will be sold after April 30. Please note tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Students will be admitted to the prom from 7:30-8 p.m. Any student arriving after 8 p.m. will not be admitted. The parents of all students who do not arrive on time may be called by a school representative.  The prom king and queen will be announced at 9:45, and students are expected to stay until the conclusion of the event at 10. Proper formal attire and appropriate behavior is expected of students at all times during the evening, with zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior. There will be a photo mirror rather than a professional photographer at prom, and these photos are always a fun keepsake from the night!

Our final concern rests in the area of pre- and post- prom parties. At John Carroll, we take the safety of our students very seriously, and we ask that our families partner with us in helping students to have a drug and alcohol-free prom night. It is our hope that the format of this year’s prom will bring students together for a memorable, safe and fun-filled evening for the Class of 2021!
