  • Spirit Day Theme: College Pride
    • Students may wear college shirts with blue jeans in good condition
    • Students are encouraged to decorate their cars with their future college colors
  • Kona Ice will be on campus after school in the Senior Parking Lot 
  • AP exam: AP Government at 8 – 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday, May 4, 2021: Looking Ahead 

  • Spirit Day Theme: In 21 years
    • Seniors will dress to match how they picture themselves in 21 years
  • AP exam: Calc AB/BC at 8-11:30 a.m.

Wednesday, May 5, 2021: Rams now, Rams forever! 

  • Spirit Day Theme: Blue and Gold
    • Students should show as much Ram pride as possible. Students may wear any blue or gold shirt with jeans in good condition. 
  • AP exam: AP Literature at 8 – 11:30 a.m.
  • Senior Recognition and Awards Night at 6 p.m. in the gym  – By invitation 

Thursday, May 6, 2021: Looking Back

  • Spirit Day Theme: Celebrating Homecomings Past!
  • With a vast majority of votes in favor of it, the Homecoming theme voted on by the class of 2021 to revive for the day is Country versus Country Club
    • Senior prank in the evening 
      • The prank must be approved and supervised by JC administration 
        • Please note: Students involved in pranks not approved by the administration or students who go beyond the parameters of the approved prank may not be permitted to participate in graduation events.

Friday, May 7, 2021: Seniors’ Last Day

  • Spirit Day Theme: Paint your school uniform! 
    • Seniors are invited to paint their school uniforms to showcase their own personalities, college decisions or JC experience
      • Students may not cut uniforms in any way, deface any John Carroll insignias, or display any inappropriate language or imagery. 
  • Senior Blue vs. Gold Kickball Game
    • Held on the JC softball field before dismissal
    • Game will include all seniors split into two randomly selected teams
  • Seniors’ Last Walk
    • Seniors will take one last walk around campus as a class through each of the hallways on campus as teachers and underclassmen cheer them on. The walk will conclude when the class of 2021 hangs their lanyards on the Ram in the courtyard and listening to their final rendition of the afternoon announcements as a class.

General dress code rules and guidelines:

  • Modesty and appropriate fit
  • Be creative within these parameters. If you do not choose to participate, please wear your JC uniform.
  • Questions regarding your outfit: Mr. Bryk
  • Bring your JC uniform as back-up 

Fit Requirements:  

  • Students may not wear anything suggestive or provocative in nature. 
  • Students should carefully choose any characters they choose to represent, ensuring that they are appropriate for a Catholic school environment. No drug or alcohol references permitted. 
  • Bottoms of any nature must fit appropriately and follow the JC fit requirements as found in the dress code section of the Parent-Student Handbook. 
  • No shorts or skirts of inappropriate length (shorter than 2.5 inches above the knee).
  • Leggings, yoga pants, and tights will not be permitted unless worn under another garment that covers to at least 2.5 inches above the knee.
