Interested in transferring to John Carroll? Here is what you need to know!
Transfer students will only be offered admission to John Carroll when all parameters are met and the Admissions Team has reviewed all mandatory documents.
Transfer students accepted into John Carroll will be handled on an individual basis. Students must be in good academic and financial standing at their current school to be considered for admission. Students applying to transfer must have at least a 2.5 GPA.
Rising seniors wishing to transfer to John Carrol may not be extended an offer of admission due to John Carroll graduation requirements. Contact the admissions office prior to completing an application for admissions to discuss further.
All transfer students are placed on a 90-day probationary period.
Transfer student application process:
+ Complete our online application. There is a $100 non-refundable application fee, so have your payment method available.
+ You will need the following documents to complete the application:

- Applicant photograph
- Birth Certificate
- Unofficial Transcript from current school
- Final report cards for the previous two school years
- Most recent report card or progress report
- Standardized testing results
- IEP or 504 accommodation plan if applicable
+ Download the Records Release and School Evaluation & Referral forms and return the completed forms by fax: 772-464-5233, email: [email protected] or hand deliver them to the school office. The School Evaluation form MUST be completed by a former school administrator or faculty member.
+ You may email any additional supporting material (i.e. awards, recommendation letters) that you would like the admission team to consider during the admissions process to [email protected]
+ Once the application is submitted, you will be contacted to schedule a meeting with our admissions team.
Please note the student file must be complete before it is reviewed for acceptance.
The transfer process may take up to 30 days before a final decision is made.
