Virtual 2020 Back-to-School Night

A message from Principal Heroux:

Sept. 22, 2020

Dear JCHS families,

Each fall, JCHS invites our parents and families to attend our annual Back to School Night and Parent Expo here on campus. This event allows families the opportunity to run through their student’s schedule and meet his/her teachers. This year, as we are unable to gather for an in-person Back to School Night due to COVID-19 restrictions, John Carroll High School has put together a “virtual” Back to School Night video series in order to introduce you to your child’s teachers. At your convenience, we invite you to watch the welcome video from the administrative team and then the short, pre-recorded videos from each of your child’s seven teachers. If you have any questions regarding the names of your child’s teachers, you can access your child’s schedule in ParentsWeb/FamilyPortal. While we know that this does not compare to being face-to-face, it is our sincere hope that it allows you with the opportunity to “meet” your child’s teachers and to hear more about their individual policies and classroom practices. As always, each of our teachers is available via email should you have any questions or concerns.  I remain so very grateful for each and every one of our teachers and for their commitment to providing a high-quality, Catholic education to our students despite the many new changes on campus this fall.  We are blessed with the best here at JCHS!

Thank you for your continued support of JCHS during this time. We will miss seeing our parents’ faces on campus for a typical Back to School Night, but we hope that this video series provides you with a good introduction to our incredible faculty/staff!

Yours in hope,

Mrs. Corey Heroux
