National Honor Society

National Honor Society serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Four main purposes have guided chapters of NHS from the beginning: to create enthusiasm for scholarships; to stimulate a desire to render service; to promote leadership; and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. These purposes also translate into the criteria used for membership selection in each local chapter.

Requirements: Juniors and seniors who have a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.75 or higher and exemplify the four cornerstones of membership as outlined for Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character will be invited to apply.
