All seniors will be recognized at this special event and presented with the John Carroll Legacy Medallion, which will be worn with their cap and gown at the Baccalaureate Mass on Thursday, May 14, and at John Carroll’s Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 15. In addition to this honor, the evening will include the presentation of academic awards for achievement and distinction, Latin Distinction pins, the presentation of honor cords to be worn at graduation, and various special recognitions, acknowledgments, and scholarship announcements.

Dress to impress. This special night honors your achievements, so your attire should reflect that! Outfits should be professional, modest, and respectful of this momentous occasion. Please avoid tight-fitting, short, or revealing clothing and anything too casual, such as athletic wear, jeans, flip-flops, or Crocs.

Participating in events and ceremonies that mark meaningful milestones in our lives is deeply important. We sincerely hope that all seniors and their families will make every effort to join us for this memorable celebration! Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.

Treat our amazing teachers for exam week!

This is a quick, drive-thru style drop-off: simply pull through the regular morning drop-off line with your snacks, hand them to us, and we’ll deliver them inside.

Suggested items include:

• Granola bars
• Premade coffee drinks
• K-Cup pods
• Pretzels
• Chocolates
• Popcorn
• Any grab-and-go snack to brighten their day!

Students who would like to be considered for placement into Spanish II Honors must take the Spanish placement test administered at John Carroll High School. Students who meet the requirements for Spanish II Honors will be notified as soon as possible.

• Must provide middle school or high school transcript (including FLVS) with Spanish I high school credit
• Meet or exceed minimum required score on placement test

Do you still need to apply for Step Up For Students for the 2026-2027 school year? All families must access the EMA Dashboard and complete the 2026-27 scholarship application to be eligible for the scholarship award. Once your student is awarded, please complete the 2026-27 Step Up For Students Data Form with the requested information. The deadline for renewals is May 31, 2026.
