Corey Heroux
President

Corey Heroux is honored to serve her third year as president of John Carroll High School. She brings 18 years of experience in Catholic education and leadership to the JCHS community. Corey is a graduate of the Remick Leadership Program through Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education. She has earned two master’s degrees in Education and Educational Leadership, as well as her Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish, all from the University of Notre Dame. She is certified in English (6-12), Spanish (6-12), and Educational Leadership.

Corey began her career teaching at St. Michael the Archangel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before joining John Carroll High School. Over the years at JCHS, she has served in multiple roles, including classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal for six years, and now president. Her journey reflects a deep commitment to the mission of Catholic education and to fostering a strong, faith-filled school community.

Corey is married to her husband, Dave, and they are the proud parents of three children: Jack, Owen, and Tess. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, gardening and caring for plants, working on puzzles, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and spending quality time with her family.

A fun fact about Corey is that she served as the yearbook moderator when she first began at JCHS. Originally from Vero Beach, Florida, she is honored to serve and lead within her hometown community.
