Mennette Colón

Mrs. Mennette J. Colón brings more than 10 years of experience in education and student support to John Carroll Catholic High School. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, she also brings performing arts experience through appearances in commercials, independent films, and stage productions.

Before joining John Carroll, Mrs. Colón spent nine years at West Gate K–8 School, serving in numerous long-term teaching assignments and as a classroom teacher for two years. She also worked as a Case Manager, supporting children and families with mental health needs.

At John Carroll, Mrs. Colón serves as the Thespian Troupe Advisor, volunteers with the Swim Team, and is active in the Parent Association.

Outside of school, she enjoys serving at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, volunteering with Golden Rescue South Florida., creative projects, and spending time with her husband, Christopher, their son, Gavin, and their two doodles, Lucy and Komi.

A Boca Raton, Florida, native, Mrs. Colón is excited to inspire students through the performing arts.

Fun Fact: Mrs. Colón is a self-proclaimed pizza enthusiast and candy fanatic!
