Joshua Kimmelman
Joshua Kimmelman is in his second year in education and brings a dynamic background in communication and faith-based formation to his role at John Carroll High School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of Central Florida, with minors in Mass Media and Cinema Studies. He is also certified as an Advanced Catechist through Franciscan University, reflecting his commitment to both academic excellence and spiritual development.
Before entering the classroom, Mr. Kimmelman served as a Development Specialist for the Diocese of Palm Beach. At JCHS, he is actively involved in student life as the faculty sponsor of Key Club, where he enjoys mentoring students and encouraging service leadership.
A proud Fort Pierce native, Mr. Kimmelman is a third-generation alumnus of John Carroll High School and comes from a deeply rooted local family with a long history at the school. He is part of a large extended family, many of whom have attended or still attend JCHS.
Outside of school, Mr. Kimmelman is a big beach enthusiast and a dedicated Star Wars fan. In college, he participated in an improv group and was voted “Most Likely to Come Back and Work at JC”, a prediction that has certainly come true.
Mr. Kimmelman is passionate about community and faith, and he takes pride in giving back to the school that helped shape him.
